INHALT: Different topics: current socio-political and economic topics, art and cultural topics, topics on German language and legal system; forms of reporting; questions concerning national identity, taboos etc.
ZIELE UND KOMPETENZEN: Students will acquire the following competences:
- Competence to express oneself in a differentiated way as to grammar, vocabulary, stylistics etc.;
- Competence to summarise complex popular scientific texts from different sciences as well as critically asses and analyse them;
- Competence to articulate arguments related to complex topics and opinions in the German language;
- Competence to formulate different text types concerning business communication;
- Competence to present current social, political and cultural topics on German speaking countries as to target group as well as manage discussions on these topics;
- Competence to understand and write non-scientific professional texts;
- Intercultural competences:
- Competence to evaluate current topics from the perspective of German speaking countries;
- Competence to identify topics, specific for discourse on German speaking countries and compare them with topics from Slovene discourse;
- Competence to identify intercultural differences in professional communication.

Leistungsnachweis
|
Types and forms of assessment: final examination (65%), oral presentation (10%), coursework (10%), prepared group discussion (10%). The final exam will test complex knowledge, won during the courses on Written and Oral Communication in the first, second and third year. Students can acquire a positive final grade if all forms of assessment were positively graded. |
